English Grape Brandy

This English Brandy is made from the grape varieties Seyval Blanc, grown at the Fonthill Glebe Vineyard, Wiltshire, SP3 6PX and blended with Reichensteiner grown at Test Valley Vineyard, Awbridge, Romsey, Hampshire, S051 OHH.

Both these varieties are well suited for distilling, as their outstanding qualities, of flavour and freshness, combine into the finished Brandy.

The wine is distilled by Julian Temperley of the Somerset Cider Brandy Company at Burrow Hill, Martock,Somerset TA12 5 BU.

While the spirit is maturing, careful contact with lightly toasted Oak, and a minute amount of pure cane sugar, as caramel, enhances the mellowing process.

Pure English Fonthill Spring Water extracted from the deep Chalk Aquifers, of the Fonthill Estate Downs is used in the final preparation.

The borehole is less than one mile north of Fonthill Glebe Vineyard, at Fonthill Bishop, SP3 5SN.

This Brandy is produced and bottled at:
