FONTHILL GLEBE WINES incorporating TEST VALLEY VINEYARDS and NEW FOREST WINES - ENGLISH WINES, Estate grown at FONTHILL GIFFORD & DINTON, Wiltshire and AWBRIDGE ROMSEY, Hampshire.
About Us As a result of farm diversification in 1976 it was decided to plant the vineyard. Following an early trial plot, the main planting began in Autumn 1979. The opportunity to acquire local established vineyards occured at various times, hence the Fonthill Gifford & Dinton sites in Wiltshire, and Awbridge, Romsey, Hampshire sites. The varieties grown are Seyval Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Reichensteiner, Müller-Thurgau, Triomphe D'Alsase and Pinot Noir. The winery is situated in the picturesque village of Teffont Evias, which is approx 8 miles west of Salisbury. The wine is made, bottled and marketed from this licenced, customs & excise bonded winery. |

Fonthill Glebe Wines are sold from the various Farmers Markets in Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset, London and local shops. We also welcome you at the winery where you can buy our wines, but please note, we can only sell you wines by the case at the winery, although the case/cases may be mixed dozens. It would be appreciated if you could phone ahead before coming as this is a working winery and we may not be able to see you if we are very busy. Thank you. |
